I’m not a bleeding heart and sometimes I think liberals can be just as absurd as extremists on the conservative end of the spectrum, but I may have to reverse that. A new resolution by a Wilmington, Delaware city council has me scratching me head.
Specifically, I’m talking about the following phrase:
“[L]aws should be enacted by all legislative bodies in the United States to promote equal representation, and should potentially include laws in defense of ‘personhood,’ forbidding every man from destroying his semen.”

Now let’s think about this a minute.
It’s one thing to suggest that fetuses are people. I mean, we have a fertilized egg that is producing life. It’s quite another thing to suggest that spermatozoa are living, breathing human beings. It’s no wonder these people are often referred to as “nutjobs.”
With stories like this, is it any wonder that people, like myself, are writing weird shit? Hail to the Bizarro kings.
