Belinda has long been a promoter of all things poetry. She once featured me in an interview on her online radio show. It’s always an honor to be featured by Belinda Subraman.

So you might be asking, “Just what is a Dinkle Dorkle?” Well, he’s a character. And I DO mean character. You’ll have to check him out.

“Dinkle Dorkle And Other Nut Cases” is a book of 30 short poems. By short I mean Twitter short. 140 characters or less. First published on Twitter in 2009, these poems have been compiled into an e-book that is now available at Smashwords and at Amazon.com.

The Amazon version is currently priced at 99 cents, but Amazon will reduce the price to free as soon as they figure out the book is available for free at Smashwords. I encourage you to check it out. 30 poems. Silly, whimsical, wacky. In a word, these are all nut cases.

This is great news. I’ve wondered for a while now when this was going to happen. I’m glad to see it.

The book was written in 2005-2007 while in Iraq and immediately after. Some of the poems reflect on the war and others don’t. It’s a small chapbook but should give you an idea of my poetic style. I’d be honored if you downloaded it.
